FUNDING & GRANT INFORMATION

Investing in People. Building Stronger Communities.

Energe Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on helping underserved and low-income youth and adults build practical skills, strengthen digital literacy, pursue continuing education and credentials, and prepare for employment and long-term economic mobility. Our initial work is centered in Richland County, South Carolina, with the ability to expand as programs and funding grow.

This page gives foundations, corporate partners, government agencies, and community funders a clear place to review our organization, program model, governance information, and grant-readiness materials. Because Energe Foundation is a launch-stage organization, all outcomes are presented as planned measures until verified program results are available.

Primary Focus

Workforce and career development, education and credentials, digital literacy, economic mobility, and community support

Mission

Energe Foundation empowers underserved and low-income youth and adults through education, workforce and career development, digital literacy, economic mobility, and community support—connecting people to employment, continuing education, credentials, and resources that promote long-term self-sufficiency.

Vision

To build stronger communities by expanding access to education, skills, quality employment, credentials, economic opportunity, and supportive resources that help individuals and families achieve lasting stability and self-sufficiency.

Funding Priorities

Workforce Development

Support the Job Readiness Program and future workforce-readiness offerings, including instruction, practical assessments, interview preparation, and employer/HR participation when available.

Career Pathways

Support connections to employment, advancement opportunities, apprenticeships, and higher-paying career tracks as employer relationships are formally established.

Education & Credentials

Support planned continuing-education, technical and vocational training, and credential-attainment pathways — pursued through genuine partnerships, not offered directly today.

Digital Inclusion & Technology Access

Support instruction and tools that help participants use workplace technology, digital productivity tools, online applications, email, and other practical employment systems.

Economic Mobility

Support the longer-term goal of helping participants and families move toward lasting stability and a livable wage, alongside our core job-readiness work.

Financial Capability Education

Support planned financial-literacy and money-management education as this component of our work is developed.

Participant Barrier Reduction

Support approved need-based barriers to employment readiness, such as limited transportation or interview-clothing assistance, subject to written rules, eligibility, and available funding.

Community Partnerships

Support outreach, recruitment, workshops, and employer, school, technical-college, workforce-system, and community-organization engagement that connects underserved communities with training and opportunity.

Responsible Organizational Capacity Building

Support responsible infrastructure needed to operate and scale programs, including qualified staffing, technology, accounting, legal/compliance support, software, evaluation, and appropriate program facilities.
